Join us as we prepare to kick off the Lenten season with Pastor Dean’s message “Ashes, Ashes.” Consider Ash Wednesday your love letter to God. What will you do to make it special – to create the environment where the Holy Spirit can work? Through visuals, music, spoken word and silence, we will prepare a place where you will make visible your love for God. No business as usual. As newcomers and guests arrive, they will feel that energy. They will know something special is happening. They will comprehend the Christian faith through the love we show for God and one another.
We will be using the “The Case For Christ” study in several different study opportunities throughout the Lenten season beginning Wednesday, February 14th. The Case for Christ: Based on the book by Lee Strobel. Skeptics dismiss the Jesus of the Gospels by claiming there is no evidence. Lee Strobel disagrees. In “The Case for Christ,” a 6-session DVD study, he searches out the truth to determine if there is enough evidence to claim that Jesus of Nazareth really is the son of God. You and your group may end up seeing Jesus in a brand new way and find your lives transformed!
*Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. – (following dinner in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m.) (We are searching for groups to volunteer to provide dinner for each night.)
Week Two: Eyewitness Evidence
Week Three: Evidence Outside the Bible
Week Four: Analyzing Jesus
